Crazy Dangerous By Andrew Klavan

Crazy Dangerous by Andrew Klavan revolves around a young man named Sam Hopkins who is a PK (preacher’s kid).  Sam narrates the book from his point of view the majority of time and is an easily likable character.  Tired of being treated differently because of his Preacher’s Kid status he inadvertently falls in with the wrong crowd of shady, misfit gangsters.  Sam soon realizes that he doesn’t fit in with this group of troublemakers after seeing how they brutally tease and slap around fellow classmate Jennifer.  Jennifer has quite the reputation of being a crazy girl known for her demonic hallucinations.  But are they really hallucinations or something else?...something bigger?  Definitely something bigger, and to find out what that is I suggest checking out the book.  This book has everything – violence, horror, suspense, mental illness, bullying, and there’s even some funny moments thrown in there.  It’s a quick, easy, entertaining read that I will definitely recommend to my fellow reading buddies.  This is the first novel I’ve read from Andrew Klavan and I look forward to checking out his other books.  I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com  book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255
